We can count on each new season of Only Murders in the Building to introduce us to some amazing new characters, and its next chapter will be no different. Logan Lerman is the latest star to join Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez in Season 5 of Hulu’s beloved murder mystery comedy.
Only Murders in the Building centers on a trio of true crime podcast lovers living in the same Upper West Side apartment complex, solving a series of murders that happened in their upscale building. Season 5 recently kicked off production, but plot details remain under wraps.
Lerman isn’t the only new cast member joining the show’s highly-anticipated fifth season. Keegan-Michael Key, Christoph Waltz, and Renée Zellweger will also be a part of its cast. In addition to the leading trio, Season 5 will also mark the return of Michael Cyril Creighton and Meryl Streep.
Lerman got his big break with the titular in the Percy Jackson series and went on to star in films The Three Musketeers, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Fury, Noah, and End of Sentence. He made a shift to television in recent years and starred in Amazon Prime Video’s thriller Hunters and Hulu’s historical drama We Were the Lucky Ones, which earned him a nomination for the Critics’ Choice Television Award.
