Amazon Prime Video knocked it out of the park with its action series The Terminal List, and its prequel is shaping up to be equally amazing. The streamer is currently in the process of casting The Terminal List: Dark Wolf and Luke Hemsworth is the latest star to join this project.

This prequel will take us five years before the original show, and it will shift focus on Taylor Kitsch’s character Ben Edwards. It will take “viewers on Edwards’s journey from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator, exploring the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it,” according to the streamer’s official logline.

Hemsworth joined the cast as a recurring guest start, and he’ll play Jules Landry, described as a self-obsessed CIA contractor who hides a dangerously volatile personality beneath his muscled veneer.

This series will feature several familiar faces, including Chris Pratt as James Reece and Jared Shaw as Ernest “Boozer” Vickers. Tom Hopper recently joined the cast in the role of Raife Hastings, described as a hunter, protector, guardian, and Navy SEAL.

Luke Hemsworth is best known as the star of HBO’s sci-fi series Westworld, and his recent credits include the sports comedy film Next Goal Wins and the TV series Young Rock.
