After several title changes, Agatha All Along is finally coming our way this September, and expectations are running high. Marvel’s TV boss Brad Winderbaum recently spilled some tea about this series and described it as really fun, but also really scary.
Agatha All Along will reunite us with Kathryn Hahn’s WandaVision character Agatha Harkness. It sees her losing her powers after breaking out of her containment in Westview in the aftermath of the WandaVision finale and joining forces with some unlikely allies on her quest to regain them.
Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios’ Head of TV and Streaming, dropped some hints about this series on the official Marvel podcast and said it will be really fun, really scary, and quite dramatic.
“She’s an amazing anti-hero and that show…lures you in with the fun of Halloween, and before you know it, you’re crying. It’s a Marvel brand of scary. It’s a Halloween show. There are deadly stakes in this series. It’s a fun ride, but it’s a dangerous one,” said Winderbaum.
Agatha All Along will premiere on Disney+ on September 18, with the first two out of seven episodes. In addition to Kathryn Hahn in the titular role, it will also star Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Debra Jo Rupp, and Miles Gutierrez-Riley.
