We haven’t seen much of Matthew Fox since Lost ended its run, but it seems he’s gearing up for a big comeback. The Emmy-nominated actor joined the star-studded cast of Taylor Sheridan’s modern-day Yellowstone spin-off series The Madison.
The Madison has been described as “a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.” Michelle Pfeiffer will lead the cast as the family matriarch Stacy Clyburn and she’ll be in pretty good company.
Elle Chapman and Beau Garrett joined the cast as her daughters Paige and Abigail. Patrick J. Adams will play Paige’s husband Adam, while Amiah Miller was cast as Abigail’s eldest daughter. Fox is the latest addition to the cast as Paul, described as a self-reliant bachelor who loves the outdoors.
The Madison hails from the Yellowstone boss Taylor Sheridan, who’s executive producing it alongside David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Keith Cox.
Fox’s casting in this series signals he’s gearing up for a huge comeback, after taking a break from acting during the 2010s and making a slow return in recent years. He joined The Madison shortly after landing a lead role in Max’s upcoming drama series The Assassin.
