Loot is one of the funniest comedy series that Apple TV+ has in store right now, and it will keep making us laugh for another year. Maya Rudolph will keep using her fortune to make the world a better place after the streaming giant renewed this series for Season 3.
Loot stars Rudolph as a recently divorced billionaire Molly Wells, who decides to take control of her charitable foundation while trying to figure out what to do with her newfound $87 billion fortune after leaving her tech billionaire husband.
Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+, confirmed the show’s renewal and praised it for continuing to deliver joy, laughs, and endearing characters for audiences around the world.
“We are excited to partner with Maya Rudolph, and the entire cast and creative team behind Loot, to create even more heartfelt moments with an ensemble of fan-favorite characters in Season 3,” said Cherniss in a statement.
Rudolph echoed his words, saying she’s extremely fortunate to spend more time with the talented cast and crew, adding she can’t wait to reunite with the Loot family.
In addition to Rudolph, the ensemble cast of Loot also includes Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Joel Kim Booster, Ron Funches, Nat Faxon, Meagen Fay, Stephanie Styles, Adam Scott, and O-T Fagbenle. They were reportedly informed about a renewal shortly after Season 2 ended its run.
