Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been under an overall deal with Netflix for quite some time, and they’re plotting two new projects with the streamer. The duo is developing two non-fiction projects, including a lifestyle series and a polo championship series.

Netflix content chief Bela Bajaria recently revealed that the royal couple have a “bunch” of projects, including two unscripted series, and the official announcement is finally here.

Markle will curate the first of two projects, which has been described as a lifestyle series that will see her “celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship.” Leah Hariton will hop on board as a showrunner, with Michael Steed joining her as a director.

The second series will be set in the world of professional polo and it will take us to the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida. Per Netflix’s official logline, this series will “pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed an overall deal with Netflix in 2020, via their Archewell Productions banner. The docu-series Harry & Meghan was the first project born out of this collaboration, and it was followed by the interview series Live To Lead and the documentary series Heart of Invictus.
