Simu Liu is getting ready to lead Pacock’s new thriller about an intelligence analyst whose brain is unexpectedly hacked, and he’ll be in pretty good company. Melissa Barrera and Brian d’Arcy James are among five actors added to the cast of this futuristic series.
According to its official logline, this series centers on an intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Liu), who realizes his brain has been hacked five minutes into the future, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. He must keep his cool and prove where his allegiance lies while trying to flush out those responsible for the hack.
In addition to Liu in the lead role, the cast of this project will also include Melissa Barrera, the star of In the Heights and the Scream franchise. She starred in several telenovelas before making a transition to Hollywood with the lead role in the Starz drama Vida, and she’ll next appear in films Your Monster and The Collaboration.
In addition to Liu and Barrera, the cast of this untitled series will also include Sinclair Daniel (The Other Black Girl), Brian d’Arcy James (13 Reasons Why), Mark O’Brien (Perry Mason), and Kathleen Chalfant (The Affair) as Parker, John Moira, Cobb, and St. George, respectively.
