BBC and Netflix are currently plotting a limited series Lockerbie, and its ensemble is getting larger by the day. The cast of this six-part series is constantly expanding, and Merritt Wever, Connor Swindells & Patrick J. Adams are the latest stars to join the pack.

Lockerbie will explore the aftermath of the devastating Pan Am Flight 103 in 1988, which led to the death of over 250 people after a bomb exploded on board over the Scottish town of Lockerbie, leaving a devastating effect on this small town and its citizens.

This series hails from screenwriter Jonathan Lee and director Michael Keillor, and it will focus on the investigation into the crash on both sides of the Atlantic. This project was developed by Netflix and BBC, and it shouldn’t be confused with Sky and Peacock’s Lockerbie series starring Colin Firth.

The two-time Emmy winner Merritt Wever (Nurse Jackie, Godless), Connor Swindells (S-x Education), and Patrick J. Adams (Suits) are the latest stars to join this project, and they’ll be in pretty good company.

Lockerbie will also star Peter Mullan (Ozark), Tony Curran (Defiance), Phyllis Logan (Downton Abbey), Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan), Lauren Lyle (Outlander), Parker Sawyers (P-Valley), and James Harkness (The English Game), among others.
