Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building is on the way, and its cast will be as star-studded as it gets. The first teaser trailer for the show’s third season is here and it offers a first glimpse of a mystery character played by the Oscar-winning legend Meryl Streep.
Season 2 of the acclaimed crime comedy show ended with another mystery death, taking place during the Broadway debut of Martin Short’s character Oliver Putnam. This dramatic scene set the stage for the next chapter of this story, which will take us behind the scenes of Oliver’s play and chronicle the events that led to its tragic finish.
Paul Rudd made a brief cameo in Season 2, as the theater actor Ben Glenroy, who dies while performing on stage. The taser trailer features a scene that takes place during the play’s table read, confirming that Meryl Streep will most likely play one of the actors in the play, along with Emily in Paris star Ashely Park.
The next chapter of Only Murders in the Building takes us outside the Arconia building, but it will once again see Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez reunite and try and solve another murder mystery. Season 3 started filming in January, and Hulu is yet to announce its release date.
