Michael Fassbender Risks it All for Love in “The Agency” Trailer

The Agency is one of the most star-studded new series in development at Paramount+, and we finally know what it’s all about. The streaming giant dropped the first trailer for this espionage drama, which sees Michael Fassbender play a burnt-out CIA agent, who’s ready to risk it all for love.

Fassbender leads the cast of this project in the role of “Martian”, a covert CIA agent whose ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to London Station.

“When the love he left behind reappears, romance reignites. His career, his real identity, and his mission are pitted against his heart—hurling them both into a deadly game of international intrigue and espionage,” reads the streamer’s official logline.

The Agency will be one star-studded affair, and its supporting cast will include Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooke, Harriet Sansom Harris, India Fowler, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Reza Brojerdi, and Richard Gere.

The Agency is loosely based on the French series Le Bureau, and it hails from the writing duo Jez and John-Henry Butterworth. George Clooney and Grant Heslov are producing the series, while Fassbender serves as one of the executive producers alongside Joe Wright, who directed the first two episodes.

The Agency will arrive at Paramount+ on November 29, and it will feature a total of ten episodes.
