We’ve witnessed many iterations of Rowan Atkinson’s iconic character Mr. Bean over the years, and he’ll soon be back for another ride. Mr. Bean: The Animated Series is set for another revival, after the British streamer ITVX ordered another season of this show.

The upcoming season of the animated series will follow the antics of Mr. Bean and Teddy, as they embark on a series of adventures, making plenty of mischief along the way. It draws inspiration from the popular British sitcom, which ran on ITV for a total of 15 episodes during the ’90s and went on to become a cult classic.

Atkinson will return to voice the titular hero, in addition to executive producing this series, and he’s looking forward to getting stuck in Mr. Bean’s world again.

“I have always enjoyed this iteration of the Mr. Bean character and the particular freedoms he has in animated form. We can take him into space or down a tin mine, without me personally having to suffer the consequences,” said Atkinson in a statement.

The upcoming season of Bean: The Animated Series will feature 52 x 11’ episodes, set to stream on ITVX in the United Kingdom, and Max and Cartoonito in Europe in 2025.
