After starring in some of our favorite comedy shows in recent years, Natasha Rothwell is finally getting the chance to lead her own. The Emmy-nominated actress will soon star in Onyx Collective’s How to Die Alone, and this series is officially coming our way in September.

According to Hulu’s official synopsis How to Die Alone centers on “a broke JFK airport employee who’s never been in love and forgotten how to dream, until an accidental brush with death catapults her on a journey to finally take flight and start living by any means necessary.”

Natasha Rothwell got her big break as a writer, star, and supervising producer of Insecure, before receiving her first Emmy nod for her supporting turn in Season 1 of The White Lotus. How to Die Alone marks her first leading role, and she’ll be joined by Conrad Ricamora, Jocko Sims, and KeiLyn Durrel Jones.

Rothwell created this series and she’ll serve as its co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Vera Santamaria. Desiree Akhavan and Jude Weng are also coming on board as EPs.

How to Die Alone will premiere on Hulu on September 13, with the first four episodes, while the rest of the season will debut on Fridays.
