Ncuti Gatwa made his first major appearance as the Fifteenth Doctor in a recent Doctor Who Christmas special – and there’s more where that came from! The first teaser for Season 14 of the British sci-fi series is here, and it sees Gatwa truly coming into his own as the next Time Lord.

The S-x Education star Gatwa will be following in the footsteps of Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, and Jodie Whittaker, who played different versions of the Doctor over the course of the past two decades.

He made a cameo as the Fifteenth Doctor in the recent 60th anniversary special alongside Tennant and Catherine Tate, before returning in the Christmas special “The Church on Ruby Road”. Millie Gibson joined him as the Time Lord’s next companion Ruby Sunday, and she’ll return when the 14th season of Doctor Who premieres on BBC in May 2024.

In addition to Gatwa and Gibson, Season 14 will also star Yasmin Finney as Rose Noble, Bonnie Langford as Mel Bush, Indira Varma as the Duchess, Lenny Rush as Morris, plus Jinkx Monsoon and Jonathan Groff in mysterious key roles.

The Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday will embark on new adventures across time and space in May 2024, and BBC is yet to announce the show’s official release date.
