NBC caused outrage earlier this summer when they decided to cancel their fan-favorite show Manifest, but this supernatural drama just found a new home. Netflix picked it up for the fourth and final season, giving the masterminds behind it a chance to conclude this twisted story.

Manifest premiered on NBC in 2018, and it centers on a group of passengers who were presumed dead after their plane mysteriously disappeared for five years. After their landing, they tried to integrate into the world that moved on without them, while experiencing guiding voices and visions of events yet to occur.

NBC announced their decision to cancel Manifest back in June, and this was a huge shocker for the fans after the cliffhanger ending to Season 3. The creator Jeff Rake had a six-season plan mapped out when he sold the series to NBC and described the cancelation as “a gut punch”, especially since the fans deserved a proper ending.

Rake was hoping to find a new home for the series, and Netflix emerged as a perfect partner in crime. Ever since Manifest premiered on this streaming service in June, it became a huge hit with the viewers and topped the viewing charts. Netflix eventually agreed to renew it for the fourth and final season, set to consist of 20 episodes.
