Netflix Cancels “No Good Nick”

Siena Agudong in "No Good Nick"

It turns out Nick just wasn’t good enough…

Netflix has announced that the series from David H. Steinberg and Keetgi Kogan, No Good Nick, will not be proceeding past its initial season.

Siena Agudong plays the titular Nick — short for Nicole — a con-artist who worms her way into the Thompson family after claiming to be an orphan, with the intention of gaining revenge after they unwittingly ruined her life. However, the teenager soon finds affection for parents Liz and Ed, played by Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin.

20 episodes of the multi-camera series were ordered in September 2018, with the first season eventually being separated over two parts.

The initial 10 episodes, entitled Part 1, were released on April 15th, with the remaining ten following on August 5th.

All twenty episodes will still be available to stream on Netflix.
