3 Body Problem is one of the most highly-anticipated new series coming to Netflix this March, and the streamer just added some more fuel to the fire. Netflix dropped the final trailer for this high-concept sci-fi series ahead of its premiere later this month.

Netflix’s official logline describes 3 Body Problem as “a thrilling story that redefines sci-fi drama with its layered mysteries and genre-bending high stakes” which sees a group of brilliant scientists watching the laws of nature unravel before their eyes as they confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.

The star-studded ensemble cast of this project includes the likes of Jovan Adepo, John Bradley, Liam Cunningham, Eiza González, Jess Hong, Marlo Kelly, Alex Sharp, Zine Tseng, Saamer Usmani, Benedict Wong, Jonathan Pryce, Rosalind Chao, and Ben Schnetzer.

The creative team behind the camera is equally impressive. 3 Body Problem was created for Netflix by Game of Thrones’ David Benioff and D.B. Weiss and True Blood’s Alexander Woo. They adapted it from Liu Cixin’s novel The Three-Body Problem and co-wrote the first episode.

3 Body Problem had its world premiere on the opening night of SXSW Film & TV Festival, before premiering on Netflix on March 21 with all eight episodes.
