If you’re always in the mood to watch a brand-new murder mystery series, get ready to add another to your watch list. Netflix dropped the first trailer for A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, which sees Wednesday’s Emma Myers trying to solve a murder mystery in her small English town.
Based on Holly Jackson’s young adult novel of the same name, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder centers on the smart and single-minded teen Pip Fitz-Amobi, who’s determined to solve the murder of a popular high school student who was killed five years ago.
Emma Myers, who previously starred in Netflix’s Wednesday opposite Jenna Ortega, will get the chance to lead her own series this time around.
“I’m thrilled about this show, and getting to be Pip has been a dream. Whether you’ve read the book or not, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is an experience all around. I think people are really going to like it,” she told Tudum.
In addition to Myers, this series also stars Zain Iqbal, Anna Maxwell Martin, Gary Beadle, Mathew Baynton, India Lillie Davies, Rahul Pattni, Henry Ashton, Mitu Panicucci, Orla Hill, Asha Banks, and Mathew Baynton in supporting roles.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder will arrive on Netflix on August 1, after airing in the UK on BBC 3 and BBC iPlayer.
