The release date of Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen series is just two weeks away, and Netflix is busy building up the hype for this project. The streaming giant dropped a new trailer for this action-comedy starring Theo James ahead of its premiere in early March.

The Gentlemen opens with Eddie Horniman (James) unexpectedly inheriting his father’s sizeable country estate, only to learn that his newfound fortune comes with a high price.

“What’s more, a host of unsavory characters from Britain’s criminal underworld want a piece of the operation… Determined to extricate his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to play the gangsters at their own game,” reads Netflix’s official logline.

The supporting cast of this project also includes Kaya Scodelario (Skins), Daniel Ings (Lovesick), Joely Richardson (The Sandman), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Peter Serafinowicz (John Wick: Chapter 2), Vinnie Jones (Law & Order: Organized Crime), and Brian Cox (Succession).

The Gentlemen is set in the same universe as Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name, starring Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Colin Farrell, and Hugh Grant. Ritchie created the spin-off series for Netflix and directed the first episode.

The Gentlemen will feature a total of eight episodes, set to premiere on Netflix on March 7.
