Vikings: Valhalla is coming to its epic conclusion this summer, and Netflix dropped some hints about its final chapter. The streaming giant shared a trailer for the third and final season of this historical drama and officially announced its release date.
Vikings: Valhalla chronicles the adventures of some of the most formidable Vikings to ever live, including Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his sister Freydis (Frida Gustavsson), and the Norwegian prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter). Season 3 will kick off with Leif and Harald achieving glory in Constantinople, while Freydis remains the undisputed leader of Jomsborg.
Heroes will become legends in the final chapter of the Vikings: Valhalla story, and here’s what we can expect from it, according to Netflix’s official logline:
“In pursuit of a new Viking home, our heroes must venture further than they ever have before. From Constantinople to Greenland to the edge of the known world. But before they can set sail for new horizons, they must travel back to where it all started for one last battle.”
Vikings: Valhalla will return for its third and final season on July 11, with Laura Berlin, David Oakes, Bradley Freegard, Pollyanna McIntosh, Sofya Lebedeva, Florian Munteanu, and Soren Pilmark in supporting roles.
