The Umbrella Academy will come to an end this summer, and stakes will be higher than ever in Season 4. Netflix teased the beginning of the end with a new teaser trailer, which sees the Hargreeves embarking on their last adventure and trying to save the world without their powers.
The fourth season of The Umbrella Academy takes place in a new timeline dictated by the family patriarch Reginald, where the Hargreeve siblings have to figure out how to deal with a new threat after being stripped of their powers.
“That’s not the only oddity in this timeline, where the stakes are higher than ever before – there are new enemies who want to see them wiped from existence, but how do they face their enemies without their powers? And will the siblings ever get them back?” reads Netflix’s official logline.
Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore will return in the show’s fourth and final season, along with several newcomers, including Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross.
The final season of The Umbrella Academy will feature six episodes, and it will premiere on Netflix on August 8.
