Netflix Original “After Life” Receives Its First Trailer For Season Two

Ricky Gervais and Penelope Wilton in "After Life"

Ricky Gervais’ brilliant dark comedy series After Life is returning for season two on April 24. The new trailer is full of ups and downs and sees a familiar cast return.

In the aftermath of his wife’s death, Tony (Ricky Gervais) is struggling to cope with everyday life. In the trailer, he confesses that it’s not doing things with his wife that he misses, it’s doing nothing with her that he misses the most.

Although the new season has its harrowing moments, it also looks like there will be some lighter and wholesome moments too. Tony declares that he wants to help those around him who helped him get through the aftermath of his wife’s death. We also see more of Joe Wilkson, the eccentric postman who apparently has a big crush on Rosheen Conaty.
