It’s been a few months since the first season of The Vince Staples Show hit Netflix, and we finally know what its future holds. Vince Staples is coming back for another ride after Netflix announced they’re renewing this comedy series for Season 2.
The Vince Staples Show tried to answer the tricky question, “Who’s Vince Staples?” by following him on his daily adventures, where anything that can go wrong usually does.
This series was created for Netflix by rapper and actor Vince Staples, who described it as his attempt to try something new and break the format of the conventional comedy. Three months after its premiere, Netflix finally renewed this series and Staples can’t wait to return for another adventure.
“The Vince Staples Show is back! The people have spoken and the most riveting, captivating, and polarizing show on Netflix is returning for Season 2. Get ready for hijinks that only a mother can love. Thank you, Netflix!” he said in a statement.
In addition to Staples as a fictionalized version of himself, this satirical comedy series also starred Vanessa Bell Calloway and Andrea Ellsworth in recurring roles, plus guest stars Naté Jones, Rick Ross, Arturo Castro, Scott MacArthur, Bryan Greenberg, and Myles Bullock.
