Tensions are running high ahead of the release of the third season of Bridgerton, and Netflix just gave us another glimpse of the show’s next chapter. The streamer prepared a special Christmas present for the fans of this show—new images and posters for the upcoming Season 3.

In addition to giving us a new look at the Season 3 leads Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington) and Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton), new images offer a sneak peek of several fan-favorite characters. Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simone Ashley) will be back, along with Ruth Gemmell as Violet, Florence Hunt as Hyacinth, and Hannah Dodd as the new Francesca Bridgerton.

Unlike the third book in the Bridgerton series, the show’s upcoming season will center on Colin Bridgerton, instead of his older brother Benedict. This is not a coincidence, according to the showrunner Jess Brownell, who felt it’s best to shift the gears after we spent two seasons really getting to know Colin and his love interest Penelope.

“This really felt like the right time to lean into what’s been set up with them. On the Benedict side, he’s such a fun character and such a fan favorite that we are really excited to play with him for a little bit more and let him have more fun before he settles down,” Brownell told Entertainment Weekly.

Bridgerton will return to Netflix on May 16, 2024 for Season 3 – Part 1, and it will be followed by Part 2 on June 13, 2024.
