During Netflix’s spell at the Television Critics Association press tour on Sunday, it was announced that the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, starring Kiernan Shipka, will premiere all 10 episodes of its first season on Friday, Oct. 26, just in time for the Halloween.

The streaming service revealed the launch in a creative way at press tour, bringing out about a dozen girls dressed in Sabrina’s iconic outfit and blonde wigs, chanting, “Something wicked this way comes,” and after a minute or so, the women turned around with their letterman jacket spelling out “October 26.”

Unlike ABC’s funny and bright version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, starring Melissa Joan Hart, the new version imagines the origin and adventures of the character as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and witchcraft. This adaptation tells the story of Sabrina struggling to reconcile her dual self, half-witch, half-mortal, while fighting the evil forces that threaten her world.

Fans of the original Sabrina will still recognize some familiar characters like Salem, the talking cat, aunts Hilda (Lucy Davis) and Zelda Spellman (Miranda Otto), and boyfriend Harvey Kinkle (played by Ross Lynch).

The reboot is based on the comic of the same name from Riverdale showrunner and Archie Comics chief creative officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
