The Big Bang Theory introduces a new character in preparation for the show’s big finale.
As the final episode EVER of The Big Bang Theory draws closer, fans have been surprised to learn the producers have thrown a new character into the mix. Lindsey Kraft will be playing the role of Marissa, the new wife of Penney’s ex, Zack. She will make her debut on January 10th, and it’s looking like she will stick around for the final episodes of the show.
The synopsis of episode 12, when she is introduced, states: “Zack and his wife want a baby, but when Zack is infertile, they ask Leonard for help.”
The story line certainly sounds interesting, and we are curious as to where it will go. We’ve already geared ourselves up for an emotional season 12 finale, and creator Chuck Lorre is only making us feel more sad to see the show end.
“We’re coming up on Christmas break, we have one more episode to shoot before we break,” Chuck Lorre told Deadline. “We definitely have discussed the finale. And we have a general idea of what we are aiming for with May and the finale.”
“These days there’s a lot of melancholy in the background at all times. It’s been a 12-year project that has been really just a joy. It’s going to be very, very sad to let it go.”
The final episode EVER of The Big Bang Theory will air in 2019.
