A brand new trailer for Rick and Morty just landed and the release date for the upcoming episodes has been announced.
Given the year we have has so far, good news is definitely due. The announcement that the remaining episodes of season four will land on May 3rd is very welcome. That said, the trailer did drop on April Fool’s Day so we are hoping that it’s not all just a mean prank.
The new trailer teases the return of some old characters. Morty’s super-intelligent dog Snowball, Mr. Birdperson’s assassin girlfriend and the infamous Evil Morty all seem to be returning in new episodes.
We also see the arrival of Sumarai Rick, who fights alien foe to the tune of “The Boys Are Back In Town” by Thin Lizzy. It looks like the new episodes are going to be full of action and excitement, picking up the pace from the previous episodes.

As for May 3rd, if that really is the season four return date, it can’t come soon enough.
