New “Wednesday” Teaser Reveals Season 2 Cast

Wednesday has been one star-studded affair, from the very start, and it will get even better in Season 2. Netflix dropped a new teaser to announce the cast of the second season, and the list of new additions includes Billie Piper, Noah Taylor, and Joanna Lumley.

The short teaser sees Thing delivering new scripts to the cast of Season 2, including Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, Joy Sunday as Bianca, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, and Emma Myers as Enid, reprising their roles from the first season.

The teaser also teases several new cast members including Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous) as Grandmama, Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire) as Barry Dort, Billie Piper (Doctor Who) as Capri, and Thandiwe Newton (Westworld) as Dr. Fairburn.

The list of new cast members will also include Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Evie Templeton (Return to Silent Hill), Owen Painter (Tiny Beautiful Things), Noah Taylor (Game of Thrones), Frances O’Connor (The Missing), Haley Joel Osment (The Kominsky Method), Heather Matarazzo (The Princess Diaries), and Joonas Suotamo (Star Wars).

Several cast members are also expected to leave the series ahead of Season 2, including Season 1 regulars Percy Hynes White, Jamie McShane, and Naomi J Ogawa.

The second season of Wednesday is currently in production in Ireland, and it’s eying a 2025 premiere.
