Heartstopper is one of Netflix’s most acclaimed new shows in recent memory, and there’s a lot of anticipation surrounding its second season. The streaming giant added some more fuel to the fire by dropping the first teaser for Season 2, which sees Nick and Charlie jetting off to Paris.
The first season of Heartstopper introduced us to Nick and Charlie, who forged an unlikely friendship that slowly blossomed into something more as they navigated the trials and tribulations of their teenage years.
The sparks between them are still ablaze in the first teaser for Season 2, which promises a deeper dive into their relationship. Judging by what we’ve seen, the couple’s class trip to Paris is just around the corner, and fans have been patiently awaiting this moment since it was a focal point of Alice Oseman’s original graphic novel which the series is based on.
Heartstopper boasts a talented ensemble cast led by Kit Connor and Joe Locke, which also includes William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood, Stephen Fry, and Olivia Colman. They’re all expected to return for the show’s highly-anticipated second season, which will premiere on August 3 and feature eight episodes.
