The Younger star has joined the third Walking Dead series.
The still untitled third TV series in the Walking Dead universe had added Nico Tortorella to its cast. He joins the previously announced Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Annet Mahendru and Aliyah Royale.
The third installment in the AMC franchise is said to “focus on the first generation to come of age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever.”
According to Variety, Tortorella will star as Felix, who’s described as “an honorable man of his word who isn’t afraid to fight for others’ safety and acceptance.”
According to sources, Tortorella’s new Walking Dead gig will not conflict with his current gig as Josh on the hit TVLand sitcom.
