Showtime‘s Dexter: Original Sin attracted a pretty impressive main cast, and nine recurring players just joined the gang. Emmy winner Joe Pantoliano is among the latest additions to the cast, along with Brittany Allen, Carlo Mendez, and Jasper Lewis.
Dexter: Original Sin will take us to 1991 Miami and introduce us to young Dexter Morgan, during his days as a forensics intern at the Miami Metro Police Department. His bloodthirsty urges are becoming impossible to ignore, and his adoptive father Harry is there to support him and help him avoid getting caught by law enforcement.
Emmy winner Joe Pantoliano (The Sopranos) joined the cast as Mad Dog, Brittany Allen (The Boys) will play Dexter’s biological mother, Laura Moser, while Jasper Lewis (V/H/S) joined the cast as his adoptive mother, Doris Morgan.
Randy Gonzalez (Bloodline), Aaron Jennings (Pure Genius), Raquel Justice (One Day at a Time), Carlo Mendez (The Bay), Isaac Gonzalez Rossi (That’s Amor), and Roberto Sanchez (Palm Royale) have also been added to the cast which also includes Patrick Gibson as Dexter Morgan, Christian Slater as Harry Morgan, and Molly Brown as Debra Morgan.
Production is currently underway in Miami, and James Martinez, Christina Milian, Reno Wilson, Alex Shimizu, Patrick Dempsey, and Sarah Michelle Geller were cast in key supporting roles in recent weeks.
