Apple TV+ prepared a pretty impressive slate of new TV shows for this winter, and Constellation happens to be one of them. The first trailer for this highly-anticipated space epic is here, and it sees Noomi Rapace trying to adjust to life on Earth after returning from space.
Apple’s official synopsis describes this action-packed space adventure as “an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology, and one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover all that she has lost.”
Constellation was created for Apple TV+ by Peter Harness (Wallander), and it revolves around an astronaut named Jo, who returns to Earth after her mission space goes awry, only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing.
In addition to Rapace (Millennium series) in the lead role, Constellation will also star Jonathan Banks (Better Call Saul), James D’Arcy (Agent Carter), Julian Looman (Emily in Paris), Will Catlett (A Thousand and One), Barbara Sukowa (Hannah Arendt) and newcomers Rosie and Davina Coleman.
Constellation will premiere on Apple TV+ on February 21, with the first three episodes, directed by the Emmy winner Michelle MacLaren (The Morning Show). The remaining episodes will stream weekly on Wednesdays through March 27.
