Feel Good’s Tessa Coates is plotting her next series, and its cast will be as amazing as it gets. Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham will star as two BFFs whose friendship must survive its biggest test yet in Coates’ upcoming Amazon Prime Video series.
This high-profile project will focus on Judith and Debbie, whose friendship has been put to a test after it turns out one of them has been harboring a huge secret. Judith has been living a double life as a trained assassin, and she must go on a run with Debbie after a hit gone wrong.
In addition to playing lead roles in this project, Spencer and Waddingham are also coming on board as producers, and they can’t wait to get to work.
“I was in as soon as I heard Tessa’s stunning pitch. To be able to dive into a role like Debbie is rare, and working with Hannah to bring this unique friendship to life is a dream… Now that we have a home at Amazon, our vision has become a reality,” said Spencer in a statement.
Waddingham echoed her words and said it’s incredibly exciting to join forces with the magnificent Ms. Spencer to bring Tessa Coates’ hugely energetic, exhilarating script to life.
