Jon Hamm is gearing up to lead the Apple TV+ series Your Friends and Neighbors, and he’ll be in pretty good company. Olivia Munn has been cast opposite Hamm in Jonathan Tropper’s new drama series in a mystery role.
Your Friends and Neighbors will center on a recently divorced hedge fund manager Coop, who comes up with a pretty unconventional way to make a living after losing his job. He starts stealing from the wealthy residents in his upstate New York suburb, but all hell breaks loose after he breaks into the wrong house at the wrong time.
This series has been developed for Apple TV+ by Jonathan Tropper, under his overall deal with the streamer. They previously collaborated on sci-fi drama See which starred Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard and ran on Apple TV+ for three seasons. In addition to serving as the showrunner of Your Friends and Neighbors, Tropper will also executive produce this project alongside Hamm and Connie Tavel.
Munn joined this project in a mystery role, and we’re yet to learn the details about her character. On the TV side, she’s best known for her role in the political drama The Newsroom, but we’ve also seen her appear in such shows as Perfect Couples, New Girl, Six, and The Rook.
