New York City has been the fourth main character in Only Murders in the Building from the very start, but that’s about to change! The fourth season of the acclaimed murder mystery comedy is underway, and it will briefly take us to Los Angeles.
Disney Television Group president Craig Erwich revealed that he read several Season 4 scripts in a recent interview with Deadline, and said he’s excited to see the leading trio take a little break from the Arconia apartment building and come to Los Angeles.
“In the same way that John Hoffman used the canvas of Broadway to tell what I think was one of the most unique seasons you’ve ever seen, the same unique Only Murders take will be applied to Los Angeles, which I’m really excited about,” said Erwich.
Only Murders in the Building stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, as the trio of true crime lovers, who decide to start their own podcast to solve a series of suspicious murders that took place within the walls of their affluent Upper West Side building.
Each season of this Hulu comedy chronicled a different murder, with several A-list stars coming on board, including Amy Ryan, Paul Rudd, Meryl Streep, Tina Fey, and Jane Lynch.
