Apple TV+ has given us another star-studded new series with Palm Royale, and its future is looking bright. Kristen Wiig and the rest of the gang will head to Palm Beach for another season after the streaming giant announced the renewal of this comedy series.

Palm Royale centers on Maxine Simmons, a social climber trying to break into Palm Beach’s high society. She’s an outsider fighting for her chance to truly belong and must decide for herself how much she’s willing to risk to join Palm Beach’s most exclusive country club.

The first season of Palm Royale was one star-studded affair, and it also starred Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy, Kaia Gerber, Bruce Dern, and Carol Burnett, in addition to Wiig.

Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+, said they’re thrilled about the opportunity to spend more time with the show’s highly entertaining, iconic cast.

“We can’t wait for everyone to experience the next brilliantly witty chapter in the lives of the Palm Beach high society set that Abe Sylvia, Kristen, Laura Dern, and this incredible team behind the show have brought so vibrantly to life,” said Cherniss in a statement.
