Party Down is the latest sitcom to get a revival, and its cast is shaping up to be amazing! In addition to the stars from the original series, the next chapter of this story will introduce us to new characters, played by Jennifer Garner, James Marsden, Tyrel Jackson Williams, and Zoë Chao.
Garner, Williams, and Chao are joining the party as series regulars, while Marsden is set to play a recurring role. They’re joining the original cast of the show, which included Adam Scott, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen, and Megan Mullally.
Garner will take on the role of a studio franchise producer who gets involved with Scott’s character while going through a breakup. Marsden was cast as Jack Botty, a famous actor best known for playing the lead in a popular superhero franchise. Williams is set to play a wannabe internet influencer, while Chao will join the Party Down crew in the role of creative food artist trying to become a celebrity chef.
Just like the original series, Party Down revival will follow the journey of a catering team in Los Angeles, which consists of aspiring Hollywood actors hoping for their big break. The revival will consist of six episodes, and the original series creators are also expected to return.
