Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist is one of the most promising new series coming to Peacock this summer, and tensions are running high in the new trailer. Muhammad Ali’s comeback fight turns into chaos in the new promo clip for this limited series.

Fight Night takes place during the aftermath of Muhammad Ali’s historic 1970 comeback fight, which served as the setting for one of the most infamous armed robberies in Atlanta’s history. A hustler named Chicken Man invited the country’s wealthiest to the afterparty, only to be accused of orchestrating one of the most brazen underworld heists that transformed Atlanta into the Black Mecca.

“Suspected of masterminding the crime, Chicken Man is hellbent on clearing his name but must convince his old adversary, J.D. Hudson, one of the first Black detectives in the city’s desegregated police force, who is tasked with bringing those responsible to justice,” reads the show’s official logline.

Kevin Hart and Don Cheadle lead the cast as Chicken Man and J.D. Hudson, while Dexter Darden plays Muhammad Ali. The supporting cast includes Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Chloe Bailey, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Lori Harvey, and Sinqua Walls.

Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist will premiere on Peacock on September 5 with all 8 episodes.
