Steven Knight gave us one truly great family saga with Peaky Blinders, and he’s getting ready to do it again! His upcoming Netflix series House of Guinness will explore the glory days of the iconic Guinness brewery, and the family that put this beloved Irish brand on the map.

House of Guinness will take us back to 19th-century Dublin and New York, shortly after the death of Benjamin Guinness. He was responsible for putting the Guinness brewery on the map, but its future is now in the hands of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, who must do everything in their power to keep it afloat.

Knight has been drawn to the Guinness family’s history for quite some time, and he’s looking forward to bringing this story to our small screens.

“The Guinness dynasty is known the world over – wealth, poverty, power, influence, and great tragedy are all intertwined to create a rich tapestry of material to draw from. I’ve always been fascinated by their stories and am excited to bring the characters to life for the world to see,” said Knight in a statement.

Knight is best known as the creator of the hit Cillian Murphy-led crime drama Peaky Blinders, which ended its run on BBC in 2022, after six seasons.
