Multiple outlets confirm that Netflix has handed Queer Eye an additional two-season order. Season 4 of the unscripted series will be back in Kansas City on July 19. Season 5 will begin production next week and will debut sometime in 2020.
The reboot of Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy launched on the streaming giant February 2018 and quickly became a cultural phenomenon. According to Variety, the first three seasons have averaged a 91% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It stars the feel-better and make-better team, Bobby Berk (interior design), Karamo Brown (culture), Tan France (fashion), Antoni Porowski (food and wine), and Jonathan Van Ness (grooming).
