Saturday Night Live featured countless surprise cameos over the years, and we’re always looking forward to the next one. Mean Girls star Rachel McAdams hit the SNL stage on Saturday night, alongside Reneé Rapp, who portrays Regina George in the musical remake of the 2000s teen classic.

McAdams wasn’t present during any promos for the new Mean Girls films, but that didn’t stop her from supporting Rapp on Saturday Night Live. She introduced her performance of “Not My Fault” alongside Megan Thee Stallion – and that was just the beginning!

McAdams also made an appearance in the sketch titled “Acting Class” alongside host Jacob Elordi, and SNL cast members Bowen Yang, Mikey Day, Sarah Sherman, Heidi Gardner, and Chloe Fineman. She played struggling actress Natalie Partman, who has trouble landing any roles because of her striking resemblance to Rachel McAdams—and she didn’t do herself any favors by announcing to the group she wanted to perform a monolog from The Notebook.

McAdams most recently received positive reviews for her performance in Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret, but things have been pretty quiet for her on the TV side since she led the second season of True Detective. She most recently made a cameo as herself in three episodes of Lil Dicky’s comedy series Dave just last year.
