Ramy Youssef is fresh off starring in Poor Things, and his schedule is fully booked even now after the Oscar campaign is over. The Golden Globe-winning actor and comedian will make his hosting debut on the next episode of Saturday Night Live.

Saturday Night Live has been a Mecca for stand-up comedians for decades, and it was just a matter of time before Youssef hit that iconic stage. His moment to shine is finally coming, and he’ll host the upcoming episode on March 30, with Travis Scott serving as the night’s musical guest.

Youssef most recently starred opposite Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, and Willem Dafoe in Poor Things and voiced a character in Disney’s Wish, but he’s not coming to SNL to promote this project. He’ll host the sketch comedy series just a week after his new comedy special Ramy Youssef: More Feelings premieres on March 23 on HBO.

Youssef won’t be the first stand-up comic to hit the Saturday Night Live stage this season. He’s following in the footsteps of Shane Gillis and Nate Bargatze, who hosted the show earlier this season. SNL alum Pete Davidson and The Bear star Ayo Edebiri also used their extensive background in stand-up to prepare for hosting the show this season.
