There’s a new singing competition coming our way and it looks awesome!

Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, and T.I. will be in charge of the new series, which is the first of its kind from Netflix.

The objective of Rhythm + Flow is to find the music industry’s next hip-hop star, and it will aim to do so in 10 episodes over three weeks.

The very first teaser trailer show us that the trio means business.

“Creativity doesn’t have blueprints,” says Chance, while Cardi B promises the show is “gonna be lit-y like a f***ing city.”

Like many music competitions, the first few episodes of Rhythm + Flow will consist of auditions. The cities in which contestants will be able to try their luck include Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Atlanta. The focus of the show will then switch to syphers, rap battles, music videos, and collaborations.

Rhythm + Flow will premiere on October 9th, with the winner declared on October 23rd.
