Iron Man‘s Robert Downey Jr. has given us a sneak preview of his upcoming HBO series, Perry Mason.

The series will be Downey Jr’s first TV project since his time in the Avengers franchise concluded. The Marvel star is executive producing the show alongside his wife. Matthew Rhys will star as the titular character.

The show is a remake of a show of the same name that ran from 1957 to 1966. The series is based on the 1930s detective novels by Erle Stanley Gardner.

The synopsis of the show reads: “While the rest of the country struggles through the Great Depression, the City of Angels has oil, the Olympic Games, talking pictures, evangelical fervor, and a child kidnapping gone very, very wrong.”

Taking to Instagram, Downey Jr. shared a snippet of the show with the following caption: Downey wrote: “I know it’s Tuesday because I’m still wearing my Sunday pajamas. I ALSO know a way to get an exclusive sneak peek at PERRY MASON. All my love, DSB (double-scrub Bob).”
