Terminator Zero is rounding out its voice cast, and some of Hollywood’s biggest stars agreed to take part. Rosario Dawson, Ann Dowd, André Holland, and Sonoya Mizuno joined Timothy Olyphant in Netflix’s animated series ahead of its release this summer.

Terminator Zero imagines a world where a war between an endless army of machines and human survivors has raged for decades, after an AI known as Skynet started its war against humanity. It chronicles the journey of a soldier who’s been sent back in time to 1997 to protect the scientist working on an AI system that could compete with Skynet in an attempt to change the fate of humanity.

Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood) will lead the voice cast as the latest incarnation of The Terminator, and he’ll be in pretty good company. André Holland (The Knick) is joining him as Malcolm Lee, a computer genius working on AI that could save the world from an apocalyptic future.

Sonoya Mizuno (House of the Dragon) joined the cast in the role of Eiko, a resistance fighter determined to stop Malcolm from launching his AI program Kokoro, which will be voiced by Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka). Ann Dowd (The Handmaid’s Tale) will join them as The Prophet, described as the philosophical guide for the human resistance.

Terminator Zero will premiere on August 29 and it will feature eight episodes.
