Time to say goodbye.
Rose Leslie’s Maia Rindell has had her swan song. Leslie, who played lawyer Maia since the CBS All Access courtroom drama launched, will not return for season 4 of The Good Fight.
News that Leslie will not return as a series regular was confirmed by creators Robert and Michelle King to TVLine at San Diego Comic-Con last week.
The duo even added that the previous season’s final episode was Leslie’s character’s “sendoff.” The season finale saw Maia head off to Washington DC to launch a new firm with Michael Sheen’s Roland Blum, so in all honesty her departure storyline-wise makes sense.
Two additional original cast members are also set to exit the show ahead of its fourth season — Justin Bartha and Erica Tazel.
The Good Fight‘s 10-episode fourth season returns next year.
