Could Roseanne Barr return for a flashback in The Conners? “Never say never,” says a fellow cast member.
Barr was not impressed with how ABC killed off her character in the debut episode of the Roseanne spin-off The Conners. This of course had to happen after Roseanne was fired from the show by parent company Disney for derogatory tweets she made.
The show is set to carry on without her, but fans of the show are wondering if she will be brought back in a flashback scene. This is quite typical for characters who are killed off.
Cast member Michael Fishman said that although there has been no formal conversation about bringing her back, it shouldn’t be ruled out as a possibility.
“You know, at the current time, we haven’t really discussed that, but that’s one of those things, I would say, never say never,” Fishman said at PaleyFest New York for The Conners premiere.
Fisherman continued: “I’m a big believer in second chances and forgiveness. I think that’s a really big thing, and I think this country is kind of built on that. People go through a lot of things, people make mistakes, everybody makes mistakes. The most successful people in our world aren’t the ones who don’t make mistakes, but the ones who learn the most from them.”
The Conners premiered on ABC on October 16th.
