Sasha Velour is working on a bite-size series for the forthcoming streaming platform Quibi.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race season 9 champion will adapt her live, underground drag performance show for the streaming service.

The eight-part series is described as “part performance documentary, part portrait,” and will follow Velour as she adapts the monthly show into a stage performance.

Velour shared the big news with fans via social media writing, “Nightgowns is coming to Quibi! An eight-part series will debut on the new platform next year. Part behind-the-scenes documentary, part lip-sync spectacular…I’m so excited for you to see the next stage of this very special drag show! Executive produced by me, with Academy Award-nominated producers from The Documentary Group and groundbreaking Grammy Award-winning music video director Sophie Muller.”

Velour joins a slew of A-listers who have teamed up with Quibi including Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Lopez, Scooter Braun, Chrissy Teigen, Tyra Banks, Lena Waithe and more.
