It may be a while until the next installment of American Crime Story.

The third season of the anthology series is expected to follow the events of Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky’s relationship which led to the US President being impeached.

Ryan Murphy will once again be in charge, with Beanie Feldman, Sarah Paulson, and Annaleigh Ashford set to star.

While it was previously announced that season 3 will premiere in September 2020, Murphy has now said that he has a busy year of filming ahead which could make that date unlikely.

“I was a little shocked at the idea that a television miniseries could change the future of our country,” said Murphy. “But I have to say I really do understand people’s sensitivities and I feel like that was just a placeholder to us and we’ve not committed yet on when we’re going to release it.”

Let’s hope that it isn’t too far in the future.
