Jimmy Kimmel Live! welcomed countless amazing guest hosts over the years, and the list is getting longer by the day. Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Martin Short, and Jeff Goldblum will be some of the stars taking over the hosting duties this summer.
Martin Short will kick the summer season off on the week of June 24, and he’ll be joined by his Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, plus Melissa McCarthy, and Sienna Miller. Jelly Roll and Beck will serve as guests and performers, while Imagine Dragons and The Warning are also expected to deliver musical performances.
The list of guest hosts will also include Black-ish star Anthony Anderson, Kathryn Hahn, who’s promoting her upcoming Disney+ series Agatha All Along, plus Deadpool & Wolverine duo Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
Comedians Kumail Nanjiani and Lamorne Morris, Hollywood legend Jeff Goldblum, and reality superstar and cultural icon RuPaul have also been added to the roaster. Goldblum, Anderson, and Morris will feel right at home because they’ve already filled in for Kimmel in the past.
This isn’t the first time Kimmel decided to take a break during the summer and let the guest hosts take the lead. The summer hiatus is becoming somewhat of an annual tradition for the long-time TV host, who decided to take a break to spend more time with his family.
