Sean Combs’ Sons Will Judge “Making The Band”

Sean Combs’ sons Quincy Brown and Christian and Justin Combs, along with celebrity choreographer LaurieAnne Gibson, will be the judges in the reboot of the 2000s show Making The Band.

Making The Band first aired on ABC in 2000 and moved to MTV in 2002, two years after O-Town was created. The series centers on finding the next big thing in the music industry. Throughout its run, Making The Band showed the real-life journey and formation of Danity Kane, Day26, Da Band, and Donnie Klang.

Making The Band will begin its multi-city casting this month, with open auditions in Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte, NC, and New York City. Combs and all the judges with be part of the tour. Prior to the casting calls, fans can experience the show with pop-up vocal booths throughout each city on tour, which will offer a music video-style performance to approved audition songs.

The show will premiere in 2020, but no release date has been set.
